Fourthcore Team Deathmatch - E1M4

I am proud to present the latest map to be added to the Fourthcore Team Deathmatch roster, to be debuted at the upcoming Baltimore-area FTDM Tournament on October 15th, 2011:


E1M4: ASTRAL AMBUSH

Variable Size: The total map size is variable dependent on the number of teams involved in the match. Create one starship for each team participating in the match.


Respawn: Before the respawn die roll is made, the dungeoneer must declare which starship he or she is appearing on.

Audience Participation: Audience members choose and distribute which weapons are gained by using the Weapon's Locker.

 Teleportation Archway (random)         Terrain Power
At-Will + teleportation
Trigger:
 You move onto a teleport square.
Effect (No Action): You teleport to a random teleport square on a starship of your choosing. If the destination teleport square is occupied, that creature dies.
Special: Your movement immediately ends after using this terrain power.

Forced Teleportation (random)                        Terrain Power
At-Will + teleportation
Trigger: You push, pull, or slide a creature onto a teleport square.
Target: The creature that you pushed, pulled, or slid.
Effect (No Action): You teleport the target to a random teleport square on a starship of your choosing. If the destination teleport square is occupied, that creature dies.

Transporter Room (Green)

Ship-to-Ship Transport                        Terrain Power
At-Will + teleportation
Requirement: You must be adjacent to the transporter room computer console.
Minor Action
Target: One creature on a teleport square
Effect: You teleport the target to a random teleport square on a starship of your choosing. If the destination teleport square is occupied, that creature dies.
Special: You do not need line of sight or line of effect to the target or destination.

Site-to-Site Transport                        Terrain Power
At-Will + teleportation
Requirement: You must be adjacent to the transporter room computer console.
Minor Action
Target: One creature on the same starship as you.
Attack: Close burst starship; +6 vs. Will (one creature)
Hit: You teleport the target to a random teleport square on the starship you are on. If the destination teleport square is occupied, that creature dies.
Special: You do not need line of sight or line of effect to the target.


Cockpit (Orange)

Ship-to-Ship Weapons                        Terrain Power

Requirement: You must be in the blue command chair.
Minor Action (1/rd.)
Close burst starship
Target: Each creature on one starship
Attack: +6 vs. Fortitude
Hit: The target is knocked prone and slides 2 squares.


Power Core (Blue)


Plasma Shield Battery                        Terrain Effect
Characters starting their tun adjacent to the plasma shield battery gain 10 temporary hit points.

Effect: Gain a random weapon from those listed below. Each starship carries only 1 of each weapon.

 Ranged 10 (one creature); +6 vs. Reflex; Make this attack up to 5 times.
Hit: 1d6 + 3 fire and lightning damage.

Effect: At the start of your next turn, make the following attack:
Attack: Area burst 2 within 10 (creatures in burst); +6 vs. Fortitude
Hit: 2d12 + 25 radiant damage.
Miss: Half damage.
Effect: Recharge this power at the start of your next turn.

Hit: 1d6 + 6 psychic damage and the target is stunned until the end of their next turn.

Effect: The target becomes a teleportation archway until the end of the encounter or you use this power again.
